Founded in 1994, Shaarei Orah is a vibrant young Congregation that has grown each year.

In 2001, a 12,000 square foot lot was acquired at 1425 Essex Road and designated as the future site of the synagogue; a larger facility to meet the growing needs of our community.

Culminating a process that began in 2002, Shaarei Orah recently received site plan approval from the Teaneck Board of Adjustment, allowing us to proceed with our construction.

We are committed to building the first Sephardic Congregation in Teaneck.
